This CD contains the full text of each of the 28 volumes from the set produced by the American Battle Monuments Commission. Each book focuses on the operations of a single A.E.F. Division and its subordinate and attached units. Divisions covered in the set: 1st, 2d, 3d, 4th, 5th, 7th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, 32d, 33d, 35th, 36th, 37th, 42d, 77th, 78th, 79th, 80th, 81st, 82d, 89th, 90th, 91st, 92d and 93d.

These books are the most authoritative accounts for unit movements and combat operations. Each book is well-researched and contains one or more casualty tables, a division strength table, a list of the sources consulted, and an index.

Each book contains one map in the body of the book and is accompanied by one or more folding maps in a pocket in the inside cover. Many of the folding maps are over 4’ x 3’, and are thus very difficult to reproduce on a computer screen. Only the maps in the text are reproduced on this CD. We are developing ways to adapt the large fold-out maps for on-screen use, and an updated version of this CD may be available in the future as a 2- or 4-CD set.
